This switch package connects the ExaSAN W4 SAN package. Contains a host switch, a user switch, end user cards, and all necessary cabling. All items have been tested to interconnect seamlessly. This switch package is used for the W4 package, which contains four user cards & cables, as well as a 6 port host switch. Contains: 

 

ExaSAN Device Switch / 81-2308S
SW-2308S is an industrial leading 7-port 1U PCI-Express switch solution by expanding the PCIe bus of a host server. ExaSAN Device Switch supports connection of 7 ExaRAID HD and maximum of cascading for 4 device switches in ExaSAN infrastructure. This performance oriented product has an outstanding maximum throughput of 20 Gigabits per second which allows a host server to link multiple PCIe peripheral devices with low latency.

ExaSAN Host Switch / 81-2208S
SW-2208S allows multiple upstream connections up to 6 hosts at higher speeds and lower costs than FC/SAS solutions. This ExaSAN Host Switch supports up to 6 workstations. The PCIe host switch provides 20 Gb/s bandwidth on each port, and there are front and back link/power LED indicators that users are easy to know the status of each port, all within the slim size of a 1U rack-mount enclosure.

Based on PCI-Express technology, ExaSAN offers users unique external PCIe x4 NT Re-drive cards to build PCIe SAN infrastructure

External PCIe x4 Optical Cable
ExaSAN offers external PCI-Express optical cable with maximum bandwidth up to 10 Gigabits per second. An ExaSAN solution offers 30-meter (default) and 100-meter (option) optical cables for users.
