This switch package connects the ExaSAN W8 SAN package. Contains a host switch, a user switch, end user cards, and all necessary cabling. All items have been tested to interconnect seamlessly. This switch package is used for the W8 package, which contains eight user cards & cables, as well as a 12 port host switch. Contains:

ExaSAN Host Switch / 81-2508S
SW-2508S allows multiple upstream connections up to 12 hosts at higher speeds and lower costs than FC/SAS solutions. This ExaSAN Host Switch supports up to 12 workstations. The PCIe host switch provides 20 Gb/s bandwidth on each port, and there are front and back link/power LED indicators that users are easy to know the status of each port, all within the slim size of a 1U rack-mount enclosure.
