Indy 2231 6 bay IDE-SCSI RAID

Description

The Indy2231 (SCSI) features high availability hardware & firmware architecture which automatically detects bad array sectors & failing disk drives before data is affected. Operating system independent & transparent with Windows, Linux, Novell, UNIX, or Mac based servers. On-line expansion allows the user to add drives to an existing array without interrupting operation.

  • Disk Scrubbing uses idle time to test disks. If a sector is corrupted, DS regenerates data from other RAID member disks & writes it to an uncorrupted sector. DS prevents having multiple corrupted sectors in a single stripe, one of the main causes of data loss.

The Indy2231 is the perfect solution for small and home based businesses who need a smaller amount of storage without sacrificing throughput.Common applications for the Indy 2231 include departmental backups, image storage, security data storage, and more.
