Description

The Qubex series is the ideal storage system for digital content creation, video streaming, and other audio visual applications. Built around a 64 bit RAID controller, the 4Gbit Fibre version consistently delivers over 300MB/s read/write transfer. Standard with RAID6 protection, which allows for the simultaneous failure of 2 hard drives without data loss. Operating system independent & transparent with Windows, Linux, UNIX, or Mac based systems. On-line expansion allows the user to add drives to an existing array without interrupting operation.

 

The Qubex employs external, 180W laptop style power supplies (one included) which reduce system noise. In fact, even under read/write, you may not be able to tell that a Qubex unit is powered, making the system ideal for low-noise environments.
